Trichology Is Not Medical Diagnosis

Trichology services are not a substitute for medical diagnosis, medical treatment or emergency medical care.

Unless specifically provided by an appropriately licensed healthcare professional, our Services do not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe medications or replace care from a physician, dermatologist, registered dietitian, pharmacist or other regulated healthcare provider.

Where symptoms, history, test results or observations suggest that medical evaluation may be appropriate, you may be encouraged to consult an appropriate regulated healthcare professional.

If you have an urgent or potentially serious medical concern, seek appropriate medical care.

4. Trichoscopy, Testing and Laboratory Services

Trichoscopy, scalp imaging and other assessment tools are used to gather information and support education and assessment. They should not be interpreted as providing a medical diagnosis unless specifically performed and interpreted by a qualified healthcare provider acting within their professional scope.

Where laboratory or other testing is offered, testing may be performed or processed by independent third-party laboratories or providers.

We do not control:

- Laboratory processing times

- Testing methodologies

- Laboratory policies

- Third-party fees

- Availability of particular tests

- Errors or delays caused by third-party providers

Test results should be interpreted within their appropriate context. Depending on the findings, you may be advised to discuss results with a physician or another regulated healthcare professional.

5. Client Responsibility

The quality and usefulness of an assessment depend in part on the information provided by the client.

You agree to provide information that is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.

Recommendations may be affected by incomplete or inaccurate information regarding factors such as health history, medications, nutrition, lifestyle, hair-care practices, chemical services, supplements or previous treatments.

You are responsible for deciding whether to follow recommendations and for informing appropriate healthcare professionals about changes you make that may affect your health or treatment.

6. Results and No Guarantees

Hair and scalp outcomes vary considerably between individuals.

Many factors may influence hair growth, shedding, scalp health and hair quality, including genetics, age, hormones, health conditions, medications, nutrition, stress, lifestyle, environment and hair-care practices.

For this reason, we cannot guarantee:

- Hair regrowth

- Prevention of future hair loss

- A particular rate of growth

- Resolution of a scalp concern

- Specific cosmetic results

- Results from products, supplements or treatments

- Results within a particular timeframe

Recommendations are intended to support informed decision-making based on the information reasonably available at the time.

7. Appointments, Cancellations and No-Shows

Appointment policies may vary depending on the service and will be communicated at the time of booking.

Unless otherwise stated:

- Please provide at least 48 hours' notice when cancelling or rescheduling an appointment.

- Late cancellations may result in the loss of a booking fee or deposit.

- Missed appointments may be non-refundable.

- Repeated missed appointments or late cancellations may require prepayment before future bookings.

If we need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, we will make reasonable efforts to provide notice and arrange another suitable time.

You may not:

- Share login credentials

- Upload materials to public or shared platforms

- Reproduce or distribute course materials

- Resell digital products

- Record or redistribute protected educational content

Specific programs, memberships or courses may have additional terms disclosed at the time of purchase.

9. Coaching, Education and Business Content

Content relating to business, entrepreneurship, personal development, self-awareness or education is provided for informational and educational purposes.

We do not guarantee specific financial, business, career or personal outcomes.

Any business decisions you make remain your responsibility. Results depend on numerous factors outside our control, including individual effort, experience, market conditions, timing and execution.

10. Physical Products

Physical products may include jewelry, artwork, accessories, educational materials or other merchandise.

Product details, processing times, shipping information and applicable return conditions will be provided on the relevant product or checkout page.

Handmade and handcrafted items may have minor variations in colour, texture, shape, finish or appearance. These variations are part of the nature of handcrafted products and are not necessarily considered defects.

Custom, personalized, made-to-order or altered products may be final sale except where defective, damaged or otherwise required by applicable law.

Customers should contact us promptly if an order arrives damaged, defective or incorrect.

11. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping and delivery estimates are estimates only unless expressly guaranteed.

We are not responsible for delays caused by postal carriers, couriers, customs authorities, weather, border processing or other circumstances reasonably outside our control.

Applicable taxes, shipping charges and other fees will be displayed where required.

Payments may be processed through independent third-party payment providers. We do not intentionally store complete credit-card information on our own systems.

We reserve the right to correct genuine pricing, description or technical errors. Where an error materially affects an order already placed, we will contact you regarding available options.

13. Refunds and Returns

Refund and return eligibility depends on the type of product or service purchased.

Unless otherwise stated:

Digital products: Generally non-refundable after access or download.

Appointments and consultations: Subject to the cancellation policy applicable to the booking.

Physical products: Eligible returns, exchanges or refunds will be handled according to the policy disclosed at the time of purchase.

Custom or personalized products: Generally final sale unless damaged, defective or otherwise required by law.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit any consumer rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.

14. Product and Service Recommendations

From time to time, we may discuss or recommend hair-care products, scalp products, tools, supplements, services, laboratories, professionals or other resources.

Recommendations are based on professional judgment, education, experience and the information reasonably available to us.

A recommendation does not guarantee that a product or service will be appropriate or effective for every individual.

Where we have a financial, affiliate, referral or other material relationship connected to a recommendation, we will disclose that relationship where required.

15. Affiliate Links and Partnerships

Some Websites, articles, emails or educational materials may contain affiliate links or recommendations connected to commercial partnerships.

We may receive a commission or other benefit if you purchase through certain links.

Where applicable, material relationships will be disclosed.

The presence of an affiliate relationship does not increase the price you pay unless clearly stated otherwise.

16. Testimonials, Reviews and Client Experiences

Testimonials, reviews, photographs, case examples and client experiences may be shared with appropriate permission.

Individual experiences are not guarantees of future or typical results.

We will not knowingly alter a testimonial in a manner that materially misrepresents the person's experience.

Submitting private feedback does not automatically grant us permission to publicly identify you or use sensitive consultation information for marketing.

Where we wish to use identifiable client information, photographs, testimonials or case information for promotional or educational purposes, additional permission may be requested where appropriate.

17. Website Information

We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate and useful information, but Website content may occasionally contain errors, omissions or outdated information.

Hair science, research, professional standards, products and best practices continue to evolve.

We may update, correct, remove or revise Website content without notice.

Information provided through articles, blogs, social media, podcasts, downloads or other general educational content should not be relied upon as individualized professional advice.

18. Third-Party Websites and Services

Our Websites may link to third-party websites, products, laboratories, professionals, social-media platforms or other external services.
